Bad credit and business credit cards 02/Mar/10 (Business)

I never realised credit ratings mattered that much when it comes to business bank accounts, but an associate of mine who had no problem opening a business bank account has struggled to get a credit card under the business, he needs a credit card as it would make it easier to account for the purchases he makes for the business.

At the moment though banks are more concerned with his credit worthiness than the business’ own. He may have to get a credit card with bad credit, a more expensive option, especially for a start-up that buys a lot of supplies and doesn’t see the money returned for several months.
