Having spent years working in various offices doing admininistrative and secretarial work, then progressing to personal assistant, followed by a period of sales and organising seminars, then a little conveyancing, as well as office management, sadly the company I was employed by at the time went into liquidation. Feeling somewhat lost, I went to several recruitment agencies who all asked me, "What do you want to do?" I couldn't answer this easily. I wanted to do a bit of everything! While I was deciding what to do next, I undertook some temporary assignments. Then I made the decision to start my own business, as a freelance/virtual assistant.
I have a wealth of experience in a number of industries and have learned many styles and methods which enables me to apply this knowledge in numerous ways. I have already helped sole traders to tidy up their home offices and set up simple systems on their pcs so they can manage their day-to-day businesses. My business is brand new and I am enthusiastic about building it as soon as possible.
In these days of doubt, and job losses, it can be more economical to hire someone by the hour, rather than have the expense and complication of employing permanent or temporary staff. I can offer as little as an hour of time, with no limit. I can also work from my own computer, or at premises, whatever is required. |
