Hi All
I'm new to online business networking and have just been introduced to this site by Sandra Wadhams with the result that now I am spending my life talking to virtual strangers and pouring out my life story.
Not that my life story is particularly interesting!
I was born (well that's pretty evident), I went to school, (hence the not too bad spelling and grammar and secret knowledge concerning the correct usage of an apostrophe!), I went to university at Nottingham (well I visited a lot of pubs in Nottingham and made the occasional lecture), and then qualified as a bilingual secretary with French as the second language (which given that my degree was in Russian seems a bit bizarre - but then I am!)
I think I was destined to be an administrator in some form or other (I refer you to my earlier reference to insider knowledge on correct usage of the apostrophe!). It was only natural therefore, that when it came to thinking up how I was going to finance my desire to work from home (doing what I had no idea), turning to my fantastic organisational skills (and giving into my inherent bossiness :) ) seemed to be the way to go.
I haven't been a VA for very long - only a matter of weeks really, but I have been doing the "odd bits" here and there for people along the way so I've been virtually assisting for the last couple of years (unofficially of course).
Now I've launched my new Virtual Administrator business, which I've fondly called "Executive Assistance". I could wax lyrical about it, but you simply have to click on the link to find out all about what I do: www.executiveassistance.co.uk
Maybe I can help you, maybe you can help me! Being half Irish (thought it wise not to mention this at the beginning), I'm a great believer that there are no such thing as strangers - just friends you haven't met yet.
Hope you'll be friends with me. |
