Hi.  My name is Simon Raybould (I'm a PhD, but I tend not to use the Dr bit in front of my name!) and I'm a voice & presentation skills trainer and coach.

That means I help people who have to make face-to-face presentations.  "Presentation" can vary from a one-on-one with your boss, through reporting at a team meeting, to talking to a large gathering at a public meeting.

My background is as
  • an actor;
  • a researcher;
  • a manager;
and I bring all three of those together in my company Curved Vision.  There are details about Curved Vision here.

For individuals and smaller organisations - when it's not cost effective for us to come to you - we provide our highly regarded public one-day courses called "Telling People!"  There are details about Telling People checkout these presentation skills training courses..

I'm always happy to provide some free advice if it's practical (don't expect miracles by email!) and I've written a fistful of books on various topics.  The two most recent are "The Little Big Voice", and introduction to getting the most out of your voice for 'ordinary people' (published by Piquant Ltd, 2000) and "Like a Brick Wrapped in Velvet" which is a short Ebook in presentation skills.  I describe the book as a business presentations training ebook.  Rush over and buy a copy: I need to feed my family....  if you don't like it, say so here and you'll get your money back.  Seems like a no-brainer to me!  :)
